Whether you come for a concert, a game, a convention, or a show, the Gas South District delivers. Here is what to know before you go.
The Gas South District anchors the events scene in Gwinnett County, combining three major venues on one Duluth campus. Together they host concerts, sports, conventions, and family shows throughout the year. It is the go-to destination for big events in the northeast metro.
The complex has evolved over the years, previously known as the Infinite Energy Center before its current naming. Through those changes it has remained Gwinnett’s flagship venue, continually drawing top talent and major events. Its ongoing investment keeps it competitive with the region’s best.
The district’s strength is its three complementary venues. The Gas South Arena hosts concerts, hockey, and large-scale events, drawing thousands to its floor and stands. The convention center accommodates trade shows, expos, and corporate gatherings, while the theater offers a more intimate setting for performances and family shows. Together they let the district host nearly any kind of event.
That versatility is what keeps the calendar full year-round. On a given week, the district might welcome a touring band, a business convention, and a children’s show, each drawing its own crowd to Duluth.

Its size and central location make it a favorite stop for national tours, and its event calendar stays packed across the seasons. For many residents, catching a show here is a highlight of the year.
